About Mutual Trade: A Purchasing Agency, Not a Factory

We buy on behalf of overseas wholesalers and importers — from the Yiwu market and the industrial belts around it — and we report every step in writing.

About Mutual Trade: A Yiwu Sourcing Agent for Overseas Wholesale Buyers

Mutual Trade is a foreign-trade supply-chain service company based in Yiwu, China. We are a purchasing agent, not a factory. Our work is to buy on behalf of overseas wholesale buyers — importers, wholesalers, chain stores, supermarkets and distributors — from Yiwu International Trade City (Futian Market) and the surrounding industrial belts of Jinhua, Yongkang, Pujiang and Dongyang. For buyers sourcing across many categories and many small workshops, our value is simple: one accountable contact instead of dozens of unrelated suppliers, and a documented record behind every order.

How We Work as a Purchasing Agent

Every engagement starts with requirement confirmation, usually within one to three days. We then identify candidate suppliers and present three to five alternatives compared in writing on unit cost, lead time and quality risk, so the buying decision is made on stated trade-offs rather than on a single quotation. Before orders are placed, we screen suppliers, run background checks and carry out on-site factory visits with a written risk assessment.

Sampling and customisation follow the same pattern. Logo printing, colour matching, packaging, and multilingual labels or instructions in more than ten languages are handled with the supplier and confirmed on a first sample, typically in seven to fifteen days. Once production or purchasing begins, we keep the buyer's scope of work in one place: purchase follow-up, quality control, consolidation and export documentation. Multi-SKU and multi-category mixed consolidation is supported, which is often the difference between a workable landed cost and a container of fragments.

Quality Principles: Prevention First, Full-Process Visibility

Our approach to quality is prevention rather than rework. Checks are scheduled across the order — IQC, IPQC, PQC, FQC and OQC — using AQL 2.5/4.0 sampling as standard and a stricter 0.65 level on request. Inspection reports include photos, video, defect lists and re-inspection records, and are sent to the buyer at least three days before shipment so there is time to react.

Markets, Languages and Order Profiles

We work with buyers in South America (Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Brazil), Europe (Germany, Italy and the wider EU), North America (US, Canada) and the Middle East (Dubai/UAE, Saudi Arabia). Our sales team works in Spanish, Portuguese, German, English and Russian. Typical minimum order quantities sit between 100 and 800 pieces per style depending on category, with stock and custom lead times quoted per product line. Holiday and seasonal ranges should be locked 90 to 120 days ahead. Shipping is arranged by sea, air, China-Europe rail or express courier, with terms from EXW and FOB Ningbo/Shanghai to CIF and DDP, supported by commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading, insurance and customs declaration.

Compliance: What We Do and Do Not Claim

Compliance testing is coordinated with ISO 17025 accredited third-party laboratories according to the product and destination market — for example EN71, ASTM F963/CPSIA, REACH, RoHS, FDA food-contact and CE testing. Mutual Trade does not issue certificates itself, and we do not supply generic or unverified certificates. Test documentation is available upon request and matched to the specific product and batch. Buyers who need a named third-party inspection or a particular test standard should state it at the quotation stage, and it will be built into the order plan.
